What is Assisted Stretching?

Assisted stretching involves a trained practitioner stretching your body for you.  This type of stretching allows the targeted muscle in each stretch to relax and lengthen naturally.  This safe way to stretch helps to reach the desired level of flexibility whereas static or forceful positions are more likely to result in an overstretched muscle or a protective reaction from the nervous system.

The benefits of assisted stretching include:

  •   Decreased pain and soreness

  • Increased range of motion and flexibility

  • Reduced tension and stress

  • Better performance and faster recovery from sports
